Biolog’s AS-500 chamber provides an oxygen-free workspace for the growth and handling of anaerobic organisms, with a hypoxia option (0.1 - 10% 02) for microaerophiles. Our unique InstaSleeve™ technology allows operators to work with their arms inside the chamber, and perform tasks with the same dexterity as they would on a standard laboratory bench, without exposing the microbes or culture media to oxygen. With flexible configuration options for accommodating lab instrumentation or additional workspace, the AS-500 chamber provides oxygen-free comfort no matter your throughput.

Attach one or more Expansion Modules to form an expanded continuous workspace, where each module provides space for an additional person to work in the chamber

Data and power ports allow analytical equipment to be used inside the chamber while interfacing with an external computer
Optional touchscreen computer monitor may be installed inside the chamber to support your computing needs

Hypoxia Option

With the Hypoxia Option, an optional upgrade to the AS-500 chamber, users can precisely control oxygen levels from 0.1 – 10% (+/- 0.1%) for culturing a variety of microaerophilic microbes.
